1,100 m² Roof flower meadow at the Kop van Zuid

Right in the center of Rotterdam, we realized a large-scale roof flower meadow on the student housing of SSH Student Housing. On over 1,100 m² of roof surface, a biodiverse green roof was created that contributes to climate adaptation, water buffering and a greener living environment in the city.

The use of native plantings creates a natural habitat for bees, butterflies and other insects, while the roof helps capture and delay rainwater runoff.
