In the green neighborhood of Vroondaal in The Hague, we installed a beautiful 150-square-meter classic sedum roof on a single-family home. This green roof combines sustainability with aesthetics and offers numerous benefits in terms of insulation, water management, and biodiversity.
Thanks to the high-quality sedum vegetation, the roof not only contributes to a natural look but also improves living comfort. The roof helps keep the home cool in the summer and retain heat in the winter, resulting in energy savings and a more pleasant indoor climate. In addition, it buffers rainwater and contributes to biodiversity in the surrounding area.
Results
Excellent insulation
Sustainable water management
Extended service life of the roofing

Biodiversity & Environmental Benefits
With this project, we demonstrate how a traditional sedum roof is not only functional but also a stylish and sustainable addition to modern homes.
