Herb Roof at Badhotel Scheveningen
At the front of Badhotel Scheveningen, we installed an 85 m² herb roof. The previously grey, unused roof was transformed into a colourful green roof with pre-grown herb mats. Hotel guests can now enjoy views of a green landscape with flowering herbs and flowers from several rooms.
To keep the herb roof in optimal condition during hot and dry periods, an automatic irrigation system was installed. In addition to its attractive appearance, the roof increases biodiversity, buffers rainwater and protects the roofing from weather conditions.

The 85 m² herb roof is located at the front of Badhotel Scheveningen and is clearly visible from several hotel rooms. Where guests previously looked out onto a bare, grey roof, they can now enjoy a green and colourful view with flowering herbs and flowers.
