Subsidy for a green roof in Nijmegen
The municipality of Nijmegen offers subsidies for green roofs to reduce water flooding and green the city.
For a green roof in Nijmegen, you can get a reimbursement of about 50% of the cost. The amount of the subsidy depends on the type of roof you choose.
For an extensive green roof, the allowance is lower than for a more intensive roof that can store more water. The better the roof performs at water storage, the higher the subsidy can be.
In most cases, the grant must be applied for before construction and a minimum area applies.
