Green roof subsidy Katwijk
Also for the year 2022, the municipality of Katwijk has again made available a subsidy for households who would like to install (or have installed) a green roof on the roof of their house, shed or other outbuilding.
The subsidy scheme in Katwijk is very simple. The municipality will refund you 25 euros per square meter of constructed green roof. The maximum subsidized amount is 500 euros if you live in the municipality of Katwijk and would like to install a green roof.
Conditions Katwijk
There are still some small conditions you have to meet as a company or household when you want to install a green roof in the municipality of Katwijk.
For example, you need to construct at least 5 square meters of green roof if you want to make use of the subsidy scheme. So if you have a very small area of green roof, there is no point in applying for the scheme.
As a further condition, the Municipality of Katwijk states that the green roof must be in good condition for at least 5 years. If this is not the case then they have the right to reclaim the subsidy in full. Have no fear, if you don’t do anything crazy then it will last very much longer than 5 years.
Building regulations and any permits should be considered when the green roof is installed.
