Ede Natuurlijk – Green roofs
With ”Ede Natuurlijk,” the municipality of Ede has made a subsidy pot available to encourage the construction of green roofs. In total, Ede has made a pot of €100,000 available in 2022 for the construction of green roofs.
If you choose to install at least five square meters of green roof then you are eligible for a subsidy, according to the municipality. Per square meter you will receive 20 euros of subsidy with a maximum of 750 euros per application. That means that you could have 37.5 square meters of green roof laid in which you get subsidized every square meter.
Naturally Ede created the subsidy scheme in the context of climate adaptation. Among other things, by constructing green roofs, the Municipality of Ede is better able to counter extreme weather in the future.
