What about the subsidy in Antwerp?
You’re probably wondering what premium you can get in Antwerp for a green roof. The city of Antwerp supports greening through the Klimaatpremie. If your roof meets the conditions, it will result in clear cost savings.
The Climate Premium applies to various interventions, including green roofs. You always apply for the premium before work starts. After approval, you have twelve months to carry out the green roof.
How does payout work?
After construction, you provide the final invoice and required supporting documents within two months. Once everything is checked and approved, the premium will be paid.
What should you pay attention to when applying for the grant?
For the City of Antwerp Climate Premium, your application must be complete and correct. The city asks for a number of documents to assess your green roof.
What to send along:
- The completed Climate Premium application form.
- Photos of the current roof
- A clear and itemized quote with the number of m² of green roof
- Possibly a permission slip if you are not an owner
- A situation plan or sketch of the roof
After execution, you provide the final invoice and supporting documents within two months, after which the premium will be assessed and paid.
